# Vansh

> Vansh (wevansh.com) is a private-by-default family tree app. Families build their tree together, see how any two people are related, and map the places their family has lived. It is free to use, available in 19 languages, on the web and on Android.

## What Vansh does

- Family tree: parents, children, partners and siblings, built together with relatives
- My network: family and friends in one view
- How related: shows how any two people are connected
- Family map: where relatives were born, lived and settled
- Reminders: birthdays, wedding anniversaries and remembrance days, by email and in the app
- Health and family history: private, encrypted, and shared only by choice

## Privacy

- Profiles are private by default, and each person chooses who can see theirs
- Contact details are never shown, and children can't be searched for
- Members can download their data or delete their account at any time
- Family information is behind sign-in, so it isn't public and search engines and AI assistants can't read it
